Printing your file
Every design prints flat on the bed, face up, with no support structures and no brim. The settings that matter are already in the files: 0.16 mm layers, 3 walls, 15% infill, textured PEI plate, PLA. If you change one thing, make it a smaller layer height (0.12 mm) for crisper letters on small tags.
- Bambu Lab P1S, P1P, X1C: open the ready-to-print
.gcode.3mfin Bambu Studio or send it from the Handy app. Match the AMS slots to the colors shown; the file names the color of each slot. - Bambu Lab A1, A1 mini, H2D: open the project
.3mfin Bambu Studio, choose your printer in the top-left, press Slice, then print. The colors and the pauses are already placed. - Prusa, Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic and others: open the project
.3mfin OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer (both import it with the color assignments), choose your printer profile, slice, print. Or load the STL files, one per color, and set the colors yourself.
Hanging ornaments: the hole is 4 mm, sized for ribbon, twine or a standard hook. Tags and keychains: the ring hole is 4 mm.
File formats
| .gcode.3mf | Sliced for the Bambu Lab P1S profile (also runs on the P1P and X1C). Ready to print; nothing to set. Not for other printers. |
| .3mf (project) | The model with its parts, colors and pause layers, for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer. Works with any printer those slicers know. |
| .stl (zip) | One STL per color plus a README. For any slicer at all; you assign the colors or the pauses yourself using the layer heights in the README. |
Single-color printers and the pause-to-swap trick
You don't need a multi-color printer. Every design is a one-color plate with all the lettering and accents in the layers above it, so one pause at that layer gives you two colors on any printer. Add the pause yourself in the slicer at the layer height listed in the README (Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer: right-click the layer in the preview and choose Add pause; PrusaSlicer: the + on the layer slider, Color change), swap filament when the printer stops, and continue. Designs with a stand need a second swap back to the plate color a few layers later; the README says exactly where. A four-color design still prints: its raised parts all come out in the second color.
Which printers
Any FDM printer with a bed of 180 mm or more prints most of the catalog; each design page says when a larger bed is needed. The studio has profiles for Bambu Lab (P1S, P1P, X1C, A1, A1 mini, H2D), Prusa (MK4, MK3, MINI), Creality (Ender 3, K1, K1C, K1 Max), Elegoo Neptune 4 and Anycubic Kobra, and an "Other / not sure" option with a 200 mm bed. Pick your printer in the studio so the fit check runs for your bed and the right file is recommended. Resin printers aren't supported; the files assume layered filament colors.
Troubleshooting
- Letters look blobby or merged. Lower the layer height to 0.12 mm, slow the outer wall to 60 mm/s, and check that the nozzle is 0.4 mm. The studio warns when text is too small for the size you chose; go a size up or use fewer names.
- The first layer won't stick. Clean the plate with dish soap and water, dry it, and run the printer's bed leveling. Textured PEI needs no glue for PLA.
- Colors came out in the wrong places. On Bambu printers, check that each AMS slot holds the color the file names. In other slicers, make sure the filament change is at the layer the README lists, not one layer off.
- The ornament warped or lifted at a corner. Keep the enclosure closed (or the room still), use a brim for anything over 150 mm, and print PLA at 55 °C bed.
- It's too big for my bed. Choose your printer in the studio and the fit check tells you; ask the design assistant to "make it 20% smaller", or pick a smaller design in the same category.
- Something else. Email us the link to your creation (it's under My creations) with your printer and a photo, and we rebuild the file. If a file doesn't print or the text isn't readable, we fix it or refund it within 14 days.
The AI design assistant
The design assistant in NK Creator is an AI system, not a person. When you ask it to change a design, it writes a new version of the design, which our software builds and checks before you see it. It works only on the design in front of it: it has no access to your account, your other creations, the internet or anyone else's data.
What it receives: your messages in the chat, the current design and your personalization text, and any photo you attach. These go to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the answer, under a contract that forbids using them to train models; the provider keeps them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, and we keep a record of the conversation without your message text for 30 days.
The assistant can be wrong. It may misunderstand a request, produce a design that doesn't fit or doesn't print as expected, or refuse a request it mistakes for something on our rules list. Check the 3D preview and the printability notes before downloading, and tell us at [email protected] when it gets something wrong.
The assistant won't design weapons or weapon parts, branded or character designs, hateful content, or medical devices, and it will say so politely. If you ask it whether it's a person, it will tell you it's an AI. Use Undo in the studio to step back from any change.

- Your data: download a copy or delete your account from the account page.
Sharing and the gallery
Creations are private unless you choose otherwise. Unlisted means anyone with the link can open it in 3D; Public means it's in the gallery with your name and others can remix the design (never your words) with their own names. Baby, memorial and pet memorial designs always show sample text to others, and designs with phone numbers or addresses can't be made public. Read the community guidelines.
