Pet ID tags and pet signs to 3D print

10 designs. Free to preview and personalize; $3.99 for the print files or $12.99 a month for unlimited downloads.

ID tags in bone, heart, paw and fish shapes with the pet's name on the front and your phone number on the back, plus signs for the house: a diner sign for the food bowls, a dog house plaque, a horse stall name plate, an aquarium plaque and a name ornament for the tree. Tags are 38 to 50 mm with a 4 mm hole and print in about 20 minutes; signs go up to 150 mm. Print tags in PETG for toughness. Phone numbers are kept private: these designs are shared by link only, never in the gallery.

Designs

How these print

  • Flat on the bed, face up; no support structures and no brim needed.
  • Colors change by layer: a multi-color printer (Bambu AMS, Prusa MMU) does it alone; a single-color printer pauses so you can swap filament.
  • 0.16 mm layers (0.20 for large signs), PLA; the Bambu file has the settings in it. See the printing tips.

Questions

What filament for a tag that lives on a collar or a bag?

PETG. It bends instead of snapping and shrugs off rain. PLA is fine indoors.

Can I print these without an AMS?

Yes. The project file has the color changes at the right layers; your slicer pauses and you swap the spool. The README names the layer height for each swap.

Will a long name fit?

Each design states how many characters fit. Longer text shrinks to fit, and the studio warns you before the letters get too small to read.
