Plate-style novelty signs to 3D print
7 designs. Free to preview and personalize; $3.99 for the print files or $12.99 a month for unlimited downloads.
License-plate style signs with raised letters in two colors: a vanity plate for the desk, a plate for the golf cart, bike or scooter, a retirement plate, a pet plate and a "just married" photo prop, plus a mini plate keychain. From 60 to 200 mm wide; the big ones have mounting holes at the corners. The letters are sized so up to seven characters fill the plate; shorter text is centered. Two colors means one filament swap on a single-color printer.
Designs

How these print
- Flat on the bed, face up; no support structures and no brim needed.
- Colors change by layer: a multi-color printer (Bambu AMS, Prusa MMU) does it alone; a single-color printer pauses so you can swap filament.
- 0.16 mm layers (0.20 for large signs), PLA; the Bambu file has the settings in it. See the printing tips.
Questions
Can I print these in one color?
Yes: print everything in one filament and the lettering still stands out because it's raised. Two colors look better and need only one pause to swap.
Can I print these without an AMS?
Yes. The project file has the color changes at the right layers; your slicer pauses and you swap the spool. The README names the layer height for each swap.
Will a long name fit?
Each design states how many characters fit. Longer text shrinks to fit, and the studio warns you before the letters get too small to read.
